The surface of BT steel's cold rolled coils are of relatively low quality and rough. They meet the requirement of regular painting with high adhesion. Good for electroplating, the quality of zinc coating is good and the quality of chromium or nickel coating on brushed surface is acceptable, but it’s not advised for mirror electro coating.
BT steel's cold rolled coils are famous for the deviation of their thickness. Take T=1.0mm product as an example, their actual thickness is around 0.95mm to 0.97mm.
